How to get good exposure (feat. marathon)
I've mentioned several times that SEO and marathons are similar. I've actually run a full marathon myself.
I prepared for more than half a year to run 42.195km. When I first started, it was hard to run 2~3km without stopping. However, after running every day for 2 months, I was able to run 10km. I was happy because my skills seemed to be improving quickly.
But then came the first crisis. I ran every day, rapidly increasing the distance, and I got a calf injury. I also got a lot of blisters on the soles of my feet.
I just kept running without any recovery, so my legs got tired. I was forced to take a two-week break from running.
I was worried that my running skills, which I had practiced for months, would decline. I had worked hard to build up a habit...
Since it had come to this point, rather than giving up, I started studying ways to prevent injuries and run better. I tried taping the soles of my feet and wearing running insoles.
I decided that in order to run for a long time, it was most important to lighten my body, so I started intermittent fasting and improving my eating habits to focus on healthy foods.
After a few more months of systematic management, I was able to lose about 10 km and run 20 km, 30 km, and even 42.195 km.
Personally, my journey to running my first full marathon was by no means easy.
SEO also requires preparation and patience, like a marathon.
From the beginning, my company website cannot run a marathon distance. I cannot run that long distance at full speed. If I overdo it without training, I could get seriously injured and have to take a long break from running.
Just as each person has different physical abilities, each website has different conditions.
